This was an illustration produced for Play Magazine for Evildead Regeneration video game. I wanted to achieve a strong heroic character pose that had the feel of 1970s fantasy artwork by artist such as Frank Frazetta. I used photoshop with many custom texture brushes and overlayed textures to get the feel of oil paint. Hail to the king!
